Common wellness mistakes

I do believe that all things happen for a reason.  Many times wellness flubs offer great insight once on other side. I too have made some personal healing mistakes that have been both a blessing and a curse.  As they say, hindsight is 20/20.

Most do the best they can with the information given to them. Many aren’t in tune with their physical bodies. It can be hard to course correct when on a healing path if mind and body are not aligned.

Over time I’ve witnessed wellness blunders lead to greater awareness and overall health if change is made.  My intention is to share some of the more common issues and hope you can avoid any prolonged challenge or dis-ease.

Common wellness mistakes:

Not listening to the body and sticking with a diet plan despite feeling poorly.

Ignoring pain and not dealing with musculoskeletal misalignment.

Making self care a low priority.

Not paying attention to the consistency and frequency of bowel movements.

Convincing self that less sleep is adequate when you know you need more.

Skipping screenings and blood tests.

Undervaluing cardiovascular exercise as well as muscle strengthening.

Not using a wellness team consisting of my physicians, acupuncturist, chiropractor, Reiki healer, massage therapist, mental health therapist, spiritual counselor/coach.

I hope this has been helpful for you.

Until next time….
